Get Pumpt Up With Dezi 5 At Club Dada, Jam At RBC’s Open Mic Night With Industry Professionals And Check Out A Free Screening Of Freedom Riders.

Dallas had a rather culinarily blessed year in food in 2017.

As a matter of fact, there were so many that FoodBitch went and put together this list of all the best dishes Dallas had to offer this year and it is one heck of a list — with some rather scrumptious photos.

In that list, features Revolver Taco Lounge’s Ceviche, Commissary’s Everything Bagel with cream cheese and Zatar’s Lamb mac and cheese. Oh, we’re drooling just looking at those sweet photos.

So after you figure out how which of those tasty dishes you’re going to to try tonight, peruse the following list of things going on in town tonight. Come on, you need something to do.

TNT 108: The Violent Years at Texas Theatre
Check out this 4K restoration of the 1956 cult classic about a group of young, wealthy ladies who rob gas stations and attack couples at secluded areas.

First Tuesday at the Dallas Museum of Art
If you’re still enjoying  few days of from work and are looking for things to keep any little ones entertained, then from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the DMA will host an array of family friendly activities like story time with the Dallas Public Library, a pop-up art spot and songs with Lolly Hopwood of Pennsylvania.

Free Film Screening: Freedom Riders at Dallas Peace & Justice Center
Attend this free screening of Freedom Riders, a PBS documentary about the 400 black and white protestors who rode together throughout the south on segregated buses, violating Jim Crow-era laws.

Dallas Zoo Lights
It’s the last chance Dallas will have to check out the Dallas Zoo’s inaugural Christmas lights showcase. General admission to the zoo gets your into the displays as well as visits with Santa and plenty of options to keep warm in this extreme cold.

Dezi 5 at Club Dada
Dezi 5 left Dallas because he felt his music wasn’t appreciated by the locals, but we’re betting that everyone will appreciate this free show tonight with Ursa Minor, 88 Killa, Party Static and -topic. — OM

Eno’s Forney Benefit Preview Dinner
All proceeds from this benefit dinner at the soon-to-open Eno’s spot in Forney will go to the Forney Education Foundation, a non-profit group that grants Forney ISD students dual credit scholarships and educational grants for Forney ISD teachers.

Open Mic at RBC
At this dope open mic, 25 performers take the stage. Free studio time is given away and those performing will have exposure to various music industry professionals with whom they’ll be able to network and build relationships.
