Feels Like a Monday.

The winning word at the 2017 Scripps National Spelling Bee was ‘marocain,’ a type of dress fabric. Now you know how to spell that and what it means.

But 12-year-old Ananya Vinay from Fresno, California, knew that before she even walked on stage last Thursday and spelled it without hesitation to walk away with a $40,000 cash prize.

We wish her the best of luck moving forward. And we wish you a happy week as well!

And speaking of spelling bees…

Austin Mahone at Trees
Austin Mahone may not look to bright, but he’s actually a lot smarter than you’d think. Being pals with Justin Bieber, he’s managed to keep a good record with press. Surely he’s been around the Biebs during one of his 3,000 meltdowns, but so far he’s managed to maintain a clean image all the same. He’s also tight with Lil Wayne, which is cool with us. — Chase Whale
