Some 50,000 People Walked Among The Lights Of Aurora In The Dallas Arts District On Friday Night.
Every two years, the Arts District in Downtown Dallas is transformed into a large public arts space for an exhibition called Aurora. That's 68-acres of interactive light, video, performance and sound art — and it makes for a pretty cool experience, we think.
Well, seems a ton of people think so, too. Over the course of Friday night's latest iteration of the exhibition, a massive amount of art fiends pilgrimaged to Downtown Dallas for their mecca — to the tune of 50,000 people in total, according to some estimates currently floating around. (Our own Kathy Tran was among the many attendees. Check out her photos below.)
