On Boston, Fenway Park and What The Hell Is Happening With AdvoCare’s Sports Presence.

If you’re a listener of KTCK 1310-AM or 96.7-FM, you probably feel like you already know TC Fleming and Jake Kemp well. And if you’re not a listener of The Ticket? Well, whatever. You’re about to get real familiar with these two just the same through their own channel of this podcast called It’s Just Banter. Wanna hear past episodes? For at least part of each of the seven days that have passed since we last podcasted, I have been in Boston, Massachusetts. So, following my on-air reunion with Jake and some hot takes on scratching to-do items off of a list, we dive into what that trip was like. Long story short, it’s pretty great — and gloriously old. Boston is kind of like Dallas if Dallas was 200 years old. And Fenway Park is as cool as you think it is.

Also discussed: Body image and working out. And that segues nicely into our second-half talking point, the ESPN article about AdvoCare. At the risk of offending potential sponsors, they seem to have a bad deal going. We try to ask what that means for us as sports fans and for our sports heroes that are involved with it.

It’s good stuff. Listen to it. — TC Fleming
