A Look Into The Local Flea Market With Fashion, Food & Vintage Furniture.

On Saturday afternoon, the South Side on Lamar building played host to over 70 local vendors for The Dallas Flea. Among those vendors? Favorite area upstarts Cowgirl Cuties, Eye on the Sparrow Designs and F. is for Frank.

What began in '09 as a smaller holiday flea market has since expanded into a quarterly event showcasing art, furniture, fashion, jewelry and home items from local creatives and companies.

Saturday seemed intent on proving why, as crowds lined the South Side on Lamar hallways, scoping the crafts and trinkets up for sale, and showcasing the demand for it. Even more indicative of these crowds' interest in the event? The fact that few appeared to scoff at the $5 fee patrons were charged for simply entering the flea market.
