• Tamaryn, Boy Friend and Nervous Curtains set a mood during their Club Dada offerings last Friday night, and photographer Hampton Mills' shots sure capture that mood well.

• Before last weekend's nine-year anniversary celebration at the Double Wide, we asked owner Kim Finch, former talent buyer Chelsea Callahan and DJs Mr. Rid and Hammertimez to share with us their nine favorite memories at the Deep Ellum venue. It gets a little nostalgic and awesome.

• Last weekend, Denton flexed its creative muscle hard and went big with Rock Lottery 11, and I'm not sure that Cory Graves could express his love for it any more adoringly than he does in this review of the event.

• Photographer Brian Knowles got out and Dallas'd pretty hard last weekend, returning with rave reviews of a couple of art openings in the Design District and high praise for Marc Kinchen's set at It'll Do Club.
