Give Me A Drink.

In the past few years, the bourbon industry has boomed, increasing more than 40 percent in sales and becoming a multi-billion-dollar industry. Thanks a lot, Mad Men! One recent survey found that 42 out of 50 states ranked whiskey as their favorite spirit.

With so many people discovering whiskey in recent years, there's probably a great many of them who aren't familiar with the tasting process. Properly taste a good whiskey requires at least seven steps, from selecting the right glass to the pour and sniff, etc.

Similarly, properly enjoying your downtime in Dallas requires a few steps, too, from deciding you're actually going to leave the house, to securing a mode of transport and picking a worthwhile destination. As for that last step, we've got a quick and easy guide all laid out for you below. Keep in mind, most work best when paired with a nice whiskey.
