Talking Ant-Man, The Marvel Cinematic Universe and The Difficulties of Creative Differences.

Welcome to TC's Movie Podcast, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Wanna talk movies? Hey, so does TC! So listen up. Either way, really. Find the archives here.

This week, Ant-Man is the subject — and Central Track’s own Javier Fuentes, who reviewed the film for the site earlier this month, is the guest host.

Javier and I saw a lot of the same things in this one — namely, that it has some great in it, but it never assembles those parts into a great movie. Still, good movies have their place, and we have no trouble ticking off the things that we enjoyed.

Eventually, though, our conversation transitions into a discussion on how Marvel's current approach to other movies affects this particular effort — and we both think they're making some mistakes there. Basically, there's a lot of curious decision-making afoot in the wider comic book movie world these days, so we give that its due, too.

Enjoy!
