Dezi 5 Is Back With A Soulful New Single That Deviates From His Electro-Pop-Leaning Catalog, And We Are Completely Here For It.

Dezi 5 — “Lady”
RIYL:
That feel-good.
What else you should know: Multi-hyphenate entertainer Dezman Lehman aka Dezi 5 is at his best-yet with his latest soulful single.

“Lady” tells the story of someone who seemingly doesn’t understand her own worth. As Dezi croons for the subject in question to “get it together” and to “be a queen and wear her crown,” a self-assuring piano riff carries a feel-good essence, bolstered by choral backing vocals — Dezi is taking us to the church of self-love. We could all use a reminder every now and then, right?

Known in large part for his electro-pop catalog, Dezi’s new song comes as somewhat of a pleasant surprise, as his impressive vocal chops appear to be on full display in a way that sometimes isn’t as highlighted in the bigger production of pop melodies. And “Lady” is likely to get you on your feet, snapping along, just as easily as Dezi’s previous pop sensibilities would.

With Dezi’s grained, rich vocals back by an instrumental uplift, the song seems to prove there aren’t limits to what he can do. We been knew, though.
