North Texas Man Sideswipes Motorcyclist In Latest Viral Facepalm-Worthy Video From The Suburbs.

Over the weekend, the story has gone sort of viral.

On Saturday, Eric Sanders and his girlfriend Debra Simpson were riding a motorcycle down a country road near Granbury. They tried to pass a driver, William Crum, 68. Crum then proceeded to sidewipe the hell out of the motorcyclists, who immediately hit the asphalt. Passing a driver through double yellow lines is in fact, illegal, and Sanders has been cited for his actions. But, ramming your car into another vehicle is illegal, too, which is why. Crum has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

Both riders were injured in the accident,

In the video, Crum gets out of his white sedan and gets accosted by the documentarian. He then goes on about how he doesn't care that he had just injured two people because they tried to pass him on a road. He matter of factly says “I don't care” at least five times. He also gives an excuse, saying that he was stung by a wasp.

Crum has since changed his tune, though. He told CBSDFW that the culprit was a spider and not a wasp: “Spiders there… or the bite, whatever, it [sic] bit me,” he said.

When asked if he had a mark on his leg, he said the following: “It’s swollen right now. It bit me right in the tendon, so right now I have a tendon that’s hurting if I stand. If I walk off, I’ll limp.”

Nobody here expects Crum to be a seasoned entomologist, but spiders are different from wasps. The jig is up, especially considering Crum's former run-ins with the law.

According to NBCDFW, Crum has previously been arrested for making abusive phone calls to 911, for making terroristic threats, and ,get this, for reckless driving.

Y'all, we need to be careful out here. If not, North Texas Man might end up gunning for Florida Man's No. 1 spot in laughably anticipated anonymous jackassery.
