The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge Opens To Traffic Today.

Yeah, they had a big party and everything a few weeks ago. But, alas, TxDOT needed some more time to finish up their work on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge before it could be opened to traffic.

Now, though, we're real close to the bridge being ready for your car. Sure, there's still some work to be done, but today's plan finds the bridge formally opening up over the course of four phases set to take place today. The only parts of the bridge not opening today will be its two connections to Riverfront Boulevard.

Thankfully, this is all happening just in time for this weekends Rockers versus Mods rally, which will find a collection of motorcyclists and scooter riders meeting up at American Airlines Center on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for a ride across the latest skyline addition. And so you don't get caught trying to hop onto the bridge at the wrong time today, we've put together a graphic to help you figure out the order of the bridge phase roll-outs.
