Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen Highlight Guest List for Conan’s Dallas Shows.

By now, you already know: Conan O’Brien is coming to town at the end of the month to shoot four episodes of his TBS late-night show, Conan, at Downtown Dallas’ Majestic Theatre in conjunction with that station’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament’s Final Four, which is going down in at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Also by now? You know whether or not your request for a free ticket (or, say, four) to one of the show’s filmings has been approved.

Today, however, some new information: The folks at Team Coco have today announced some of the guests who’ll be joining O’Brien and sidekick Andy Richter on the Majestic stage. And they’re no slouches, either. Here’s the rundown of guests, as presently scheduled.

Monday, March 31: Adam Sandler and comedian Tig Notaro.
Tuesday, April 1: Seth Rogan and American Idol winner Philip Phillips.
Wednesday, April 2: The Big Bang Theory‘s Simon Helberg and The Eli Young Band.
Thursday, April 3: Charles Barkley.

It’s tough to say why all these people are coming, to be frank.

Sandler’s a known sports fan, so maybe that explains his appearance. Barkley, meanwhile, moonlights as a college basketball analysts for a few weeks every year for TBS so his booking make sense, too. And TBS shows Big Bang Theory re-runs, and Helberg plays the role of Howard Wolowitz on that show, so chalk another one up for TNT self-promotion there.

Worth noting is that, as things currently stand, the sole guest slated to appear that boasts any obvious ties is the Denton-sprung Eli Young Band, which remain a hit on the CMT circuit.

Our best guess is that the show will mostly choose to serve up audiences’ fill of Dallas references with out-in-the-world spots. How so? Well, we already know O’Brien stopped in Cleburne (and visited a Whataburger), if nothing else.
