Seryn Makes Some New Friends and Finishes Up Their Tour.

After leaving the Folk Alliance, the load was a lot heavier. Our minds had been blown away by all the mini sets in the hotel rooms we'd seen. Each of us had been given backpacks full of swag and lots of free CDs, which we received in exchange for photos in our red chair.

Back on the road, we took breaks when it looked pretty out the window and made some art.

The band had a nice set at the BIlly Reid store in Nashville. All along the way, I've enjoyed seeing how involved everyone was with this band, and how the fans got to engage with them. Fans yelled the words to their songs back at them, singing along from the audience. I definitely met some new Seryn believers.

Ideas are crystallizing right now for the band's next trip to the studio. They worked on a few new songs in the van. The band also confirmed some dates for South by Southwest. They say they look forward to continuing to see their music connect with people.

Their new merch, which the band just got from local artist Kevin Obregon and just in time for SXSW, will include some temporary tattoos. He drew up the designs right before we left for this tour.

They also got some new Seryn sunglasses. Y'know, with their light being so bright and all.
