Friends And Fans Alike Gathered For Dallas Ex-Pat Rapper -Topic’s Homecoming Show At Three Links In Deep Ellum On Thursday Night.

If it feels like just yesterday that the adored rapper -topic left Dallas to try to give things a go in Oakland, well, you’re not too far off. It was only this past March when he waved goodbye to his hometown.
Still, the rapper received something of a hero’s welcome when he returned to town for a homecoming gig at Three Links in Deep Ellum on Thursday night . There, thrilled fans and friends alike filled the space, and a litany of -topic’s collaborators joined him on stage over the course of his headlining set, which was just the kind of sweaty and impassioned display that so endeared the rapper to local audiences in the first place.
