Designer Drugs, True Widow, Old Snack and Jay Fresh Shined Big and Bright at 35 Denton's First

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the first night of 35 Denton — and something we'll surely see throughout the Denton festival's run through Sunday — was the variety of music genres on showcase. And not even just showcased, really, but embraced.

Old Snack's punk pleased at The Labb, Jay Fresh's hip-hop dazzled at Andy's, True Widow's self-proclaimed “stonegaze” tripped out the Rubber Gloves crowds and Designer Drugs' electronic offerings had the hipsters at Hailey's in a tizzy.

And, man, was it fun. You really did look good last night, Denton.
