Our Next Pop That Party Will Feature Pase Rock, Chuck Inglish, Booty Fade and More.
Last time we and DJ Sober teamed up to throw one of our recurring Pop That! bashes, it proved to be a rather wet and wild affair. At the next installment in our ongoing party series, though, we're bringing some heat.
On Friday, September 26, in conjunction with Index Fest, we're taking our bash to the upstairs ballroom confines of Sons of Hermann Hall — the oldest freestanding wood building in Dallas, for whatever that's worth — and we're dragging some big names along with us.
Topping the affair will be the Ohio-sprung, Miami-based grand wizard Pase Rock, whose ridiculous dancefloor command will be on full blast on this night — just as it was a few years back during a previous trip through town, a sexy little video recap of which you can check out below.
As a special treat, Detroit rapper Chuck Inglish, who'll be in town with his pal Sir Michael Rocks for a Cool Kids reunion as part of Index Fest, will also on hand — fresh off the release of his debut solo LP, Convertibles, no less — to serve as the night's host. Kicking things off, meanwhile, will be our local buds Booty Fade and Zach Witness. Below, take a sonic tour of how the night's proceedings should shake out.
So, yeah, it should be a hell of a time. And this is cool: Index wristband-holders will be able to get into this sumbitch for free. And, thanks to our friends at Cricket Wireless, those without wristbands can get in for just $10.
