The Flaming Lips Preps A Double-Vinyl Record Store Release Right Here In Dallas.

After a year of the special 2012 Record Store Day release the band announced earlier this year.

Now we have some more details on that release: A&R Records employees confirm to Central Track that the project currently being pressed is a double-album vinyl release compiling a number of the band's recent collaborations, including songs featuring Bon Iver, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Dallas' own Erykah Badu and longtime Lips friend Daniel Huffman of Dallas electronic outfit New Fumes.

A&R plans to complete pressing the new release by March 26, giving the Lips about a month to ship the albums out in time for the April 21 celebration.
