35 Denton Announces Big Freedia and Reggie Watts for Hot Wet Mess.

Earlier this month, we passed along news about 35 Denton's latest venture, a one-day, fall-set, back-to-school party at the North Texas Fairgrounds called The Hot Wet Mess. At the time of the initial announce, however, further details were scant.

Today, more finally come — and, once again, they arrive accompanied by a fairly gratuitous teaser video clip, as is custom from the 35 Denton crew at this point.

Included in the most recent reveal? That two former 35 Denton performers — New Orleans sissy bounce pioneer Big Freedia and music-inclined comedian Reggie Watts — will make up half of the four-band bill. Also? Now that there are some names attached to the event, ticket prices have risen from their original $10 blind pre-sale cost to $15 a piece. Get your tickets here.

We're still not 100 percent sure where exactly the “wetness” of the planned annual event will pertain, but with the sexually charged Big Freedia now involved in the bill, our minds are kind of racing.
