Diplo, Tiesto, Avicii, Calvin Harris and Tons More Highlight First 2012 Lights All Night Confirms.
At the end of December, all over the world, people will wonder: Where did the entire EDM scene disappear to?
Instead of forcing you to overcompensate for never finding Carmen Sandiego and sending you off on a search for highly respected EDM artists so you can validate your detective skills, we'll just tell you: They'll all be in Dallas.
Perhaps you already assumed as much: After all, it was back in July when we first noted that this year's third rendition of the New Year's Eve-celebrating Lights All Night affair will be held in Fair Park and, for the first time, as a three-night affair (December 29, 30 and 31).
Today, though, we've received confirmation that, indeed, this year's deal will be big.
This morning, the folks at Highland Entertainment, the entity behind the jumbo party, announced the first round of acts set to play this year's ordeal.
It's an impressive list, to say the least, featuring some pretty recognizable names (if not some of the most recognizable names) in the EDM scene — enough, one imagines, to sway any of you who were on the fence about purchasing a ticket.
The list of performers, broken down by the day in which they'll be gracing us with their presence, follows. Here's the crazy part, though: More names will be added soon, so, by all means, stay tuned.
