The Museum’s current exhibit explores the African American experiences during WWII. Moderated by Dr. Ervin James III, Associate Professor of History at Paul Quinn College, this panel discussion will narrow the scope to daily life for African Americans in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the years leading up to the Civil Rights Movement.

Erma Bonner-Platte, artist, educator, historian and widow of Tuskegee Airmen Instructor Captain Claude R. Platte; Dr. W. Marvin Dulaney, Associate Professor of History Emeritus, and former Chair of the Department of History at the University of Texas at Arlington; and Dr. LaTrese Adkins Weathersby, Adjunct Professor of History, Dallas County Community College District.
