Event Details

The story of Los Tigres del Norte begins in Rosa Morada, a union in the municipality of Mocorito, state of Sinaloa, Mexico, in 1968, when Jorge, the eldest of the Hernández Angulo family, convinced his brothers Raúl, Hernán and cousin Oscar to form a group. At that time Jorge was only 14 years old. The precarious economic situation of the family forced everyone to contribute. During their more than 44 years of career they have recorded more than 55 albums, with more than 700 songs, they have sold more than 30 million copies, with 140 disks of platinum, 135 of gold and 1 of diamond. In addition, they have participated in more than 16 films, they have been nominated 15 times to the Grammy awards, that gained in 1987 by its recording America without frontiers, and have participated with different musicians of very varied sorts, as it is the case in 2002, where they collaborated together with Jaguares in the recording of the song Behind the Hills, for their album The first instinct. In 1993 they achieved a record of attendance when they managed to congregate to more than 200,000 people in a concert realized in Arena Sport of Los Angeles.
