Get The Jump On Your 3/10 – 3/16 Plans.

The biggest and longest of North Texas' dozens of festivals may be winding down today, but for the next few weeks festivals are still going to be fairly inescapable around these parts.

Hell, Lower Greenville venue The Crown and Harp alone is hosting two of those suckers this week alone! But, really, that's just what happens in Dallas around South by Southwest time, as spillover acts from that Austin deal bum around our parts for a pass either on the way in or way out of that annual clusterfuck.

Think of it this way: You're going to be busy these next few days.

Sunday (3.10)
35 Denton
Last day to get your festival on. Well, out in Denton at least.

Aesop Rock at Granada Theater
Not to be confused with A$AP Rocky.

Andrew W.K. at Trees
Let's get a party started. As if that didn't go without saying.

Joan Rivers at Winspear
She'll fucking say anything!

Monday (3.11)
Invasion Festival at Crown and Harp
Cutter, Blackstone Rangers and a dozen more acts play tonight.

Major Lazer at House of Blues
Come for the daggering, stay for the after-party featuring DJ Sober.

Pure X, Social Studies and So So Glos at Dada
A SXSW spillover treat!

Tuesday (3.12)
Alabama Shakes at Palladium
You got to hooooooooooooooooooooooooold on.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra at Dada
They're expecting all of their funny friends to show up for this one.

They Might Be Giants at House of Blues
They're not real doctors. But they are real worms.

Lovefest at Crown and Harp
DDM and Burger Records bring you this second festival at the venue this week.

Wednesday (3.13)
The Zombies at The Kessler
It's the time of the season for loving.

Muse at American Airlines Center
They'll set your soul alight!

Thursday (3.14)
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at McFarlin Auditorium
They no who u r.

Friday (3.15)
KMFDM at Trees
Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid loosely translates to “no pity for the majority.”

Saturday (3.16)
South By So What at Quick Trip Park
Finally, a chance to catch Rap Game James Franco (read: ratchet rapper Riff Raff) in Dallas.

Local Natives at South Side Music Hall
You & I should hit this up.

Alt-J at Granada Theater
Maybe they'll show you their awesome wave.
