Get Wowed by RTB2 Yet Again.

Last night may have been the slowest night in Dallas. Bars all across the city were closed. The ones that were open, meanwhile, were fortunate if they had more than 10 people crammed inside.

Hey, it happens. Especially in the wake of a party-centric night such as New Year's Eve.

And, honestly, we're OK with that. Truth is, much as we pride ourselves on being able to point you in the direction of something awesome to do every single night of every single day of the year in Dallas, it's probably not healthy to actually go out and go nuts for the entirety of the 365.

That said, though, if you've got the bug to go out and leave the house — and judging by last night's terrible turnouts across the city, this may actually apply — you still have some options tonight.

RTB2 at Sundown at Granada
Ryan Thomas Becker and Grady Don Sandlin are heroes. That's the best way to describe the guitar-and-drum duo, I think. Check them out tonight if you need proof. They won't disappoint; these rock 'n' rollers never do. Instead, they do the opposite, wowing each time they perform, reminding everyone who has seen them once beforehand that, hey, these guys actually are as good as you drunkenly remember them being that one time a while back.

Left/Right at Zubar
Just looking to booze tonight? OK. You're best option is at Zubar, where vodka well drinks are just a buck until 1 a.m. Local electro producers Left/Right will be on hand, sonudtracking your drunkenness, too.

Blixaboy and Brian Bishop at Bryan Street Tavern
Each week at Lost Generation, Wanz Dover (Blixaboy) aims to show you that there's more to various musical genres (punk, electro, garage, soul, etc.) than meets the eye. Let him.
