Unleash The Beast With Of Monsters And Men.

A couple weeks after the Dallas Stars may or may not have leaked their new logo via their iPhone app, the team finally appears set to officially unveil their new look this evening. And, while Dallas may not be known as the most hockey-friendly city, makeovers are always something to get excited about.

Also worth getting excited about? Just how much is going on around town this Tuesday evening.

Fleetwood Mac at American Airlines Center
In honor of the 35th anniversary of Rumours — and the reissue thereof from earlier this year — the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees return to the Big D for the first time since their 2009 Unleashed tour.

Of Monsters and Men at House of Blues (Sold Out)
While this indie Icelandic outfit has been popular in Europe for some time now, they’re just now starting to gain some traction stateside. And how: Tonight’s show at the House of Blues is already sold out. If you’ve absolutely been dying to see them, maybe start saving up for a trip to Bonnaroo in a couple weeks.

P.E. Class at School Class
Remember that time in high school P.E. when you weren’t picked last? Well, if you want to relive that joyous occasion, tonight’s your chance. School Class is hosting a P.E. Class at 8:30 p.m., which will include a light jog to Kidd Springs Park, followed by push-ups, sit-ups, cartwheels and jumping jacks. And don’t worry, they won’t force you to use the community showers.

Merchandise at Dada
Since forming in 2008, this trio has downgraded to a duo and shifted away from its diehard punk roots. 2012’s Children of Desire shows off influences from Krautrock to country ballads and ‘50s crooners. Milk Music and Destruction Unit open.

Tuesday Night Trash at Texas Theatre
As an alternative take on their typical b-movie night, Michael A. Morris guest-curates a series of somewhat avant-garde short films that all relate to the night’s theme of “extremists and transgressors.” Or another way to think of it: five films for the price of none.

iStandard Producer Showcase at The Prophet Bar
Fifteen of Dallas’ best producers will show off their tracks to a panel of guest judges and producers, including the Grammy-winning Symbolyc One.
