Raise A Glass.

Finally, the Olympics are over. Meaning? We can all go back to not caring about watching biathlons for another four years.

We can also finally clear out the DVR of the hundreds of hours of coverage we so optimistically recorded but weren't necessarily motivated to watch since all the results were released ahead of time. And, perhaps more importantly, it should signal the end — not only of our excuses for not going out, but on that whole “In Soviet Russia, ceremonies close you” line of humor as well.

Well, for a while, anyway.

Philip Glass at Winspear Opera House
Tonight, Glass, perhaps the most important composers of this century, will perform chamber music selections along with virtuosic violinist and longtime collaborator Tim Fain. Or, in layman's terms, the guy that wrote The Truman Show's soundtrack will be performing with the violinist from Black Swan. — Cory Graves

Angel Olsen at Three Links
This past Tuesday, Chicago-based singer-songwriter Angel Olsen released her third solo LP. This time around, the former Bonnie Prince Billy backup singer enlisted the help of local studio ace John Congleton to help create her first full band effort. By all accounts, the change of pace is a welcome one, finding Olsen somewhere in the strange land between Leonard Cohen and Hank Sr. Cian Nugent and Nicholas Altobelli open. — CG

Cool Out at Crown and Harp
Joining Cool Out resident Tony Schwa for his weekly Monday night gig will be Denton's '80s night torchbearer YeahDef performing an all-vinyl set . — CG

Adult Night at Legoland Discovery Center
Usually, the powers that be require any adult that's wishing to check out this Lego wonderland to bring at least one kid — except for one day out of the month. Lucky for you, today is that one day. Go check out all the Legos you can handle at this adults-only event. Make sure and get your tickets from the link above, though, or else they'll be $7 more expensive at the door. — Stephen Young
