Scenes From Wednesday Night’s Sold-Out Walk The Moon Show At South Side Ballroom.

In pretty short order, Walk the Moon has risen through the indie pop ranks from a band that was playing rooms like Trees in 2014 to one that's able to headline South Side Ballroom twice in the span of five months.

The band's most recent turn at the venue was a sold-out showing this past Wednesday night — and that, no doubt, had a little to do with the fact that the Cincinnati outfit is also one of the bigger names at this year's Austin City Limits fest, which wraps up this weekend. For the kids that slept on the sidewalk to guarantee their front-row spots to this one,, that probably mattered very little. They were just there to shut up, dance and sing along to “Shut Up and Dance,” one of the bigger songs of the summer.
