All 93 Participating Galleries In The 2015 Dallas Art Fair.

Welcome to Ranked, our recurring column in which we take a long, hard look at oddly specific things pertaining to Dallas and tell you the order in which you should care about them.

Heading into its seventh year, the Dallas Art Fair has never looked as good — or ever felt so international — as it currently does.

What's more? Others are finally giving the event its proper due. Earlier this week, you may have noticed an Artsy piece timed to the Art Fair that's been making the social media rounds; in no uncertain terms, that article calls Dallas “an American arts destination.” It's no wonder then that, at least in Texas this weekend, Dallas is indeed at the center of the art world.

And why not? With 93 galleries from around the world exhibiting at Downtown's Fashion Industry Gallery (1807 Ross Avenue) this weekend, art lovers can peruse a wealth of gems, with attendance fees starting at $25 a pop for single-day passes. (Purchase tickets and find more information here.)

It's best, though, to head into the fair with a plan. To that end but also just for the lulz, I just spent five hours visiting all 93 of the participating galleries' web presences in an attempt to rank their offerings. As always, my findings are completely scientific and objective. (OK, not really: This is just one writer’s attempt to sort through the noise; if it helps one other person navigate the fair, it was worth the attempt in my eyes.)

So, without any further ado, here it is: A ranking of the most powerful galleries — or at least the ones coming to the 2015 Dallas Art Fair.
