We Took An Oculus Rift To A Bar And Asked People To Try An Air Race Flight Simulator.

You should never drink and drink. Nor, for that matter, should you ever drink and fly.

Drinking and simulated flying, on the other hand? Ain't nothing wrong with that — so long as you're not already in danger of blowing chunks, at least.

And we can prove it! Last Thursday night, as local show promoter King Camel threw its second anniversary bash at Three Links, we took to the venue's back patio armed with a flight-simulating Oculus Rift. Then we goaded the bar's patrons into seeing what it's like t fly through the air at upwards of 200 miles per hour.

What did we learn? The spins are a very real thing. See what we mean in the below video. — Kalan Briggs
